OVERVIEW
Oracle ERPs are used by many large organisations in Oman, especially in energy, utilities and services. Whether you run Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle NetSuite, Fawtara requires invoices from Receivables to be issued as PINT OM e-invoices through an accredited service provider.
Each Oracle product has its own integration options. Fusion Cloud offers REST APIs and file-based extracts, E-Business Suite supports database-level and interface table approaches, and NetSuite provides SuiteTalk and SuiteScript. We choose the option that fits your product, hosting and IT policies.
As with any ERP, the quality of customer, tax and item data decides how smoothly e-invoicing runs. We review transaction types, tax rates and customer VAT numbers early and fix gaps before go-live.
Statuses from your accredited service provider are brought back into Oracle or into a monitoring view, so your receivables team knows which invoices were delivered and which need attention.

COMMON CHALLENGES
These are the issues we see most often. Each one is planned for from the start, so it does not surface in the week before go-live.
01
Each Oracle product needs a different integration approach.
02
Fusion Cloud updates each quarter, so integrations must be resilient.
03
Tax regimes may need refining for Fawtara categories.
04
Each subsidiary needs its own VAT registration setup.
THE FAWTARA MODEL
Fawtara, the Oman Tax Authority's e-invoicing programme, uses a Peppol-based five-corner model. Invoices are issued in the PINT OM format and travel through an accredited service provider, which delivers them to the buyer and passes the tax data to the OTA. Invoices cannot be sent from an ERP directly to the OTA.
Step 1
In your ERP, accounting or billing system.
Step 2
Checked against PINT OM and Omani VAT rules.
Step 3
Your accredited service provider exchanges it over Peppol.
Step 4
Delivered to the buyer's own service provider and system.
Step 5
Tax data reaches the Oman Tax Authority through Fawtara.
HOW IT WORKS
We document the systems, data and approvals involved in your invoicing.
Fields, rules and exceptions are defined against PINT OM and Omani VAT rules.
The connection is built and tested with real invoices, including the edge cases.
After go-live, statuses and exceptions are monitored so nothing is missed.
WORKED EXAMPLE
How an Oracle Fusion invoice becomes a Fawtara e-invoice.
See It in a Demo →WHY IT MATTERS
Every in-scope invoice is issued in the PINT OM format from your go-live date.
Data is checked before it leaves your system, not after a buyer or the OTA flags it.
E-invoices are stored electronically, ready for audits and OTA requests.
Standard interfaces keep your system's upgrade path clean.
Delivery and rejection statuses are visible in your own system.
Subsidiaries are added to the same setup.
