OMAN E-INVOICING · INTEGRATION
Whatever ERP or accounting system you use, we connect it to Fawtara so invoices are issued as PINT OM e-invoices through an accredited service provider, with no change to how your team bills.

OVERVIEW
Businesses in Oman use a wide range of ERP and accounting systems: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Tally, Sage, Zoho and many locally developed systems. Fawtara does not require you to change your ERP, but it does require your ERP's invoices to reach the buyer as PINT OM e-invoices through an accredited service provider.
We look at what your ERP can do. Some systems have ready connectors or vendor updates for Fawtara; others need an API or file-based integration. We recommend the route that is reliable, maintainable and proportionate to your volumes.
Every ERP project includes a data review. Customer VAT numbers, tax codes, item descriptions and units of measure are checked against PINT OM requirements, and gaps are fixed before testing begins.
We also plan the people side: who monitors rejected invoices, how corrections are raised and what training your team needs.

COMMON CHALLENGES
These are the issues we see most often. Each one is planned for from the start, so it does not surface in the week before go-live.
01
Not every ERP vendor has a Fawtara update yet.
02
Custom invoice logic can complicate the mapping.
03
Groups may need to connect more than one ERP.

THE FAWTARA MODEL
Fawtara, the Oman Tax Authority's e-invoicing programme, uses a Peppol-based five-corner model. Invoices are issued in the PINT OM format and travel through an accredited service provider, which delivers them to the buyer and passes the tax data to the OTA. Invoices cannot be sent from an ERP directly to the OTA.
Step 1
In your ERP, accounting or billing system.
Step 2
Checked against PINT OM and Omani VAT rules.
Step 3
Your accredited service provider exchanges it over Peppol.
Step 4
Delivered to the buyer's own service provider and system.
Step 5
Tax data reaches the Oman Tax Authority through Fawtara.
HOW IT WORKS
We document the systems, data and approvals involved in your invoicing.
Fields, rules and exceptions are defined against PINT OM and Omani VAT rules.
The connection is built and tested with real invoices, including the edge cases.
After go-live, statuses and exceptions are monitored so nothing is missed.
WORKED EXAMPLE
How an invoice in a mid-market ERP reaches the buyer.
See It in a Demo →WHY IT MATTERS
Every in-scope invoice is issued in the PINT OM format from your go-live date.
Data is checked before it leaves your system, not after a buyer or the OTA flags it.
E-invoices are stored electronically, ready for audits and OTA requests.
Standard interfaces keep your system's upgrade path clean.
Delivery and rejection statuses are visible in your own system.
No need to replace a system that works.
IN DETAIL
BEFORE YOU GO LIVE
Having these ready before the assessment shortens the project and keeps your Fawtara go-live on schedule. Our free Fawtara readiness checklist is a good place to start.
