OVERVIEW
Not every business runs a packaged ERP. Billing platforms, industry systems and in-house applications all produce invoices, and under UAE e-invoicing all of them must produce PINT AE e-invoices exchanged through an accredited service provider.
An API integration is the most direct route. Your system sends the invoice data, receives a validation result immediately and then follows the invoice through delivery and FTA reporting. Your developers work with a clear data structure instead of building the PINT AE format and Peppol exchange themselves.
API integration suits businesses whose invoices come from billing engines, subscription platforms, industry-specific software or applications built in-house. Instead of each system implementing the PINT AE format and the Peppol exchange, they send invoice data to one integration point and receive structured responses.
We work with your developers to agree the data contract, error handling and status updates, then provide a test environment where every invoice type can be tried before go-live. Documentation and examples are shared so your team can maintain the connection with confidence.
CAPABILITIES
Your system sends invoice data; the PINT AE XML is produced for you.
Errors are returned with the field and rule, so they can be fixed at source.
Delivery, rejection and reporting statuses are returned to your system.
Authenticated access, encrypted transport and full audit trails.
COMMON CHALLENGES
These are the issues we see most often. Each one is planned for from the start, so it does not surface in the week before go-live.
01
Different systems produce invoices in different formats and need one consistent route to compliance.
02
Building PINT AE, validation and Peppol exchange in-house takes significant effort.
03
Systems need clear, machine-readable errors to fix data at source.
04
Peak billing runs must not create duplicates or lost invoices.
THE UAE MODEL
The UAE uses a decentralised, Peppol-based "five-corner" model. Your invoice is created in your own system, validated and delivered by accredited service providers, and its tax data is reported to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) as part of the same exchange.
Step 1
In your ERP, accounting or billing system.
Step 2
Checked against PINT AE and UAE rules.
Step 3
Your accredited service provider (ASP) exchanges it over Peppol.
Step 4
Delivered to the buyer's own service provider and system.
Step 5
Tax data is reported to the FTA.
HOW IT WORKS
We check your version, invoice types and where the UAE data fields already live.
Your invoice data is mapped to the PINT AE format and the UAE data dictionary.
We link your system to an accredited service provider and test every invoice type end to end.
You switch on e-invoicing before your phase deadline, with our team on hand.
