OVERVIEW
For accounts receivable, UAE e-invoicing changes how invoices reach your customers. In-scope invoices are delivered as PINT AE e-invoices over Peppol, and you get confirmation that they arrived instead of wondering whether an email was opened.
Webtel connects your AR process end to end: invoices and credit notes are issued as e-invoices, delivery statuses come back into your ERP, and collections teams can see exactly which invoices were delivered and when.
E-invoicing gives AR teams something they rarely had before: confirmation that each invoice reached the customer. That changes collections conversations, because 'we never received the invoice' is replaced by a clear delivery record.
Structured invoices also reduce disputes. When the buyer's system receives clean data that it can match to its purchase order automatically, fewer invoices get stuck in approval, and payments arrive more predictably.
CAPABILITIES
Invoices, credit notes and debit notes sent in PINT AE.
Delivery status recorded against each invoice.
Proof of delivery reduces 'invoice not received' delays.
Validated data means fewer queries from customers.
COMMON CHALLENGES
These are the issues we see most often. Each one is planned for from the start, so it does not surface in the week before go-live.
01
Missing TRNs and addresses block delivery.
02
Some customers may not yet be reachable over Peppol.
03
Credit and debit notes must be linked to originals.
04
Teams need delivery status where they work.
THE UAE MODEL
The UAE uses a decentralised, Peppol-based "five-corner" model. Your invoice is created in your own system, validated and delivered by accredited service providers, and its tax data is reported to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) as part of the same exchange.
Step 1
In your ERP, accounting or billing system.
Step 2
Checked against PINT AE and UAE rules.
Step 3
Your accredited service provider (ASP) exchanges it over Peppol.
Step 4
Delivered to the buyer's own service provider and system.
Step 5
Tax data is reported to the FTA.
HOW IT WORKS
We document the systems, data and approvals involved in this part of your invoicing.
Fields, rules and exceptions are defined against PINT AE and the UAE data dictionary.
The connection is built and tested with real invoices, including the edge cases.
After go-live, statuses and exceptions are monitored so nothing is missed.
