Document TypesOVERVIEW
Under Fawtara, invoices must be created in a structured, machine-readable format aligned with the PINT OM specification — Oman's version of the Peppol international invoice. Business-to-business invoices are exchanged electronically, while business-to-consumer invoices also carry a QR code with key details such as the seller's name and VAT number, the timestamp and the VAT and invoice totals.
Webtel's generation module produces these documents automatically from the sales data you already record. Each invoice is structured correctly, validated against the Fawtara rules and, where needed, given its QR code — so it is ready for exchange through your accredited service provider the moment it is created.
